Violence

I don't deny that the gun violence is out of hand. But again I say, the guns are already readily available. And as we speak of banning guns and changing laws - there are people out there buying up all the guns they can get their hands on. Other things need to be done to curb the violence. The guns are a tool. The violence and hate comes from the individual pulling the trigger. Family is a key role. People are not taught values at home anymore. Times have changed. People are not raised with morals like they used to be. Families are not sitting around the dinner table anymore - discussing - caring - like they used to do. Kids do what ever they want. The parent is too busy. There is drug and alcohol use. Five dads and one mom children. Absent dads and moms. Money problems. There are no connections. It's sad. Parents can't discipline - the government steps in. Public places cannot display the Ten Commandments anymore - and they are so powerful! Ok guns are banned. What is going to happen with all the mentally disturbed, hateful, violent people who are still out there? The problem is not with the killing tool. It is the society that we have become. Sad but true. This is what needs to be changed.
