Chemo cycle 4 complete - 2 more to go. Radiation treatment #17 today out of 25. I'm almost there!! Yayyy!
Was hoping to make the day today without puking but I already started this morning. Feeling good right now - hope it stays that way I have to drive 1/2 to the radiation treatment and then 1/2 hour home. Hope I don't have to puke in-between times (or there) but just in case, I have a plastic trash can in the seat next to me. If it happens, it happens. Nothing I can do about it.
I can definitely feel the accumulating affects of the chemo now - mainly with the vomiting. Radiation so far - isn't bothering me too awfully much. A little heartburn here and there - but nothing major. I still have 8 treatments to go for radiation - it has accumulating affects as well. We shall see. The chemo is the hard stuff - at least for me. The first 2 cycles I felt wonderful. Third cycle I got sick two days. Fourth cycle starting to get sick already we will see what tomorrow brings. I can work from home if necessary.
