Well, it's finally here. My last chemo/radiation treatment today.

The last couple of weeks have been kind of rough - I try not to complain too much as I know many people have it worse than me. But I have been so fatigued that it's hard to put one foot in front of the other with out a lot of effort. I am hoping to feel better by the end of the week. I think just not having the radiation every day will make a big difference in my energy returning.

After today, all the good cells that were destroyed with the bad cancer cells can start healing again. Oh, it may take a week or so they say - sometimes longer, but I'm being optimistic.

I will miss the staff who went through this journey with me. Kay, Erin and Barb in Radiology. Cassie, Amanda, Meghan (I think) who have been with me through Chemo. Dr. Vedula - Radiation Oncologist and Dr. Hatton - Medical Oncologist. I would definitely recommend them to anybody going through the cancer journey. And of course my Navigator, Shannon who organized everything and was with me from the beginning. She will be missed as well.

So with a smile on my face as much as I can muster, off I go!

Tuesday Blessings................................
