Well, here it is 6 days from my last chemo and I am finally up and around. I'm still pretty weak though. It's funny how chemo works. I didn't feel as bad this time but I was extremely weak. I could barely walk from my bedroom to the kitchen without having to stop and rest. I also had a weird vision thing going on a couple of days ago. I will mention to my oncologist when I see her again next month. I don't plan on working tomorrow but I do plan on working Tuesday - Friday. I have a CT scan on Wednesday and will go to work after that. Lots to do at work this week before Christmas!
I got in the car a few minutes ago to take the Roodles for a ride and enjoy a little sunshine. Good thing I took my water glass because that is what I had to puke in! It just came on all of a sudden. Why when I wanted to get out for a bit? :( Oh well, it is what it is. Chemo is really a funny thing. Sometimes side affects can come out of nowhere. Now, here I am after rushing home and no more puking. Just when I wanted to take a ride waaaaahhh!
Well, no matter. I am just happy to finally be up and around again (somewhat) and it's always good to see the sun this time of year. I am blessed!
