I met the nicest man at the grocery store today after work. He was shopping and he said he didn't have a list and he seemed "new" at doing grocery shopping.
We stopped and chatted a while since we were passing each other up in the aisle's (he said "We have to stop meeting like this") Ha!
He lost his wife last year. They found a spot on her lung and it was lung cancer. They were able to get it they said. She didn't have any chemo or radiation. After she came home she seemed ok he said but things got worse. He thinks she had more wrong with her.
So, I told him my story - we were able to connect because we had something in common. I enjoyed talking to him. He was probably in his 70's.
I didn't get his name :( I wish I would have.
