Since we live in the midst of a fallen world, we see all around us lives collapsing with broken hearts and shattered emotions, with broken homes and broken hopes. While we grieve with those who are suffering, we know that the bottomline problem is that the majority of people in our fallen world are building their lives on a foundation that is cracked and flawed.

The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian church, “No one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11). There’s only one foundation that will last for us, regardless of the pressure or the situation that we might be facing: Jesus! He never changes. And He will never leave you or forsake you.

Do you want to be prepared for the storms of life? Do you want to be able to help others as they are going through these storms? Then first build your life on the solid foundation of faith in Jesus Christ— and then share that solid Foundation with others.

He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure. Isaiah 33:6
