Below is the very last picture I got of Alex minutes before Dr. Nathan arrived and right before I threw my arms around his neck and held him until the end. His friend Lucy wanted in the picture as well (on the right). Looking at the picture he looks perfectly fine....and he was from mid back up - but from mid back down to his tail he was pretty much paralyzed. Let the healing begin. There is another star in the sky tonight and the rainbow is brighter.
