Eagles guitarist and Detroit native Glenn Frey dies at age 67
Frey was born in Detroit and grew up in Royal Oak. When the Eagles were playing Joe Louis Arena in July 2015, Frey said he got his hard work ethic from Detroit, according to MLive .
