Oregon family says they were kicked off United flight due to autistic daughter's behavior | Fox News

I feel bad that this happened however, I agree with the pilot. He obviously felt this disturbance could cause harm to Juliette herself as well as other passengers should she have a meltdown. If the mother knew Juliette needs to have hot meals then she should have thought ahead and contacted the airline ahead of time. I don't think Juliette was being discriminated against. I believe that the pilot would have handled this situation the same way for anybody who he believed was a possible threat to themselves or others. Maybe next time the mother should be more prepared for the trip with her daughter.

Oregon family says they were kicked off United flight due to autistic daughter's behavior | Fox News: ""I asked the flight attendant if they had anything hot, because Juliette is very particular about her food," Beegle told the station. "If it's warm she won't eat it, if it's cold she won't eat it, it has to have steam rolling off of it."

Beegle says the attendant told her that warm meals could only be served to first class passengers.

"The flight attendant said, 'There's not anything we can get you,' so I said, 'Well, how about we wait for her to have a meltdown, and start crying and she tries to scratch, and then you'll want to help her.'""
