I believe it. Meat has drastically been reduced from my diet since I am concentrating now on eating more low carb fruits and veggies with beans and whole grains. (I was diagnosed pre-diabetic) Red meat - or any meat is not something we should eat every day - not to say I wouldn't eat a nice filet minon or hamburger at times. Just not every day. Also....I read more and more about the shit that's in our food.

I think growing and eating your own food as much as possible is the best thing to do. Wean yourself from meat :)
